West Wales
Monix Fire Safety Ltd provides professional, independent fire risk assessments for commercial and residential premises across West Wales, including Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.
All assessments are carried out in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and relevant British Standards, with clear, practical recommendations to support legal compliance and life safety.
01 Assessments
A fire risk assessment is a legal requirement for almost all non-domestic premises and shared areas of residential buildings. It is the responsibility of the Responsible Person to ensure that fire risks are identified, assessed, and managed appropriately.
Monix Fire Safety Ltd offers competent fire risk assessment services that identify fire hazards, evaluate the risk to occupants, and review the adequacy of existing fire precautions. Where improvements are required, these are clearly explained within a structured and prioritised action plan.
02 Premises
Fire risk assessments are carried out across a wide range of premises, including but not limited to:

03 About
All fire risk assessments are undertaken by a competent fire risk assessor holding a Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment (L4DipFRA), awarded by ABBE, and supported by ongoing professional development.
Assessments are informed by current legislation, guidance and standards, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Fire Safety Act 2021, Approved Document B, and relevant British Standards such as BS 5839, BS 5266 and BS 5499 where applicable.
Professional memberships and continued training ensure that advice remains current, accurate and proportionate to the level of risk.
04 Independence
Monix Fire Safety Ltd operates as an independent consultancy. No fire alarm, emergency lighting, fire door or extinguisher installation services are offered.
This ensures that all advice provided within fire risk assessments is impartial, proportionate, and based solely on risk and compliance, not product sales.
